Luxury Swiss skincare brand La Prairie has launched an immersive exhibition, The Art of Caviar, to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of its iconic Skin Caviar collection.
The travelling exhibition is designed to take visitors on an immersive journey into the 'indulgent, rarefied, mysterious world of caviar.'
The Zürich edition of the exhibition is being held at Zürich Airport. It will be the first time that The Art of Caviar has been held in a retail/travel environment, and will provide travellers with a unique immersive experience.
La Prairie enlisted French artist Paul Coudamy, creative studio Bonjour Interactive Lab, artist/engineer TremensS and art studio Cinq Fruits, to create five installation pieces exploring caviar.
Paul Coudamy created two pieces; Living Cells and Solid Frequencies. Living Cells debuted at Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland, as part of La Prairie's partnership with the contemporary art fair. It tells the story of Skin Caviar Absolute Filler, La Prairie’s newest innovation, using the concept of volume.
Solid Frequencies is a multimedia piece inspired by the original Skin Caviar product. It consists of a black form pierced with a glass tube filled with small marbles, representing the Skin Caviar beads, and features glass, electronic sensors, a state-of-the-art sound system, metal and resin.
Bonjour Interactive Lab created Moving Pixel, a digital piece that examines the Skin Caviar Liquid Lift. It features a collection of golden beads frozen in time and space.
Cinq Fruits created a series of photographs that celebrate the Skin Caviar Luxe Cream and Luxe Cream Sheer.
TremensS created an immersive experience in a dark room, with lasers cutting through the darkness to symbolise steam distillation, a process used in the creation of the Skin Caviar Essence-in-Lotion.
Greg Prodomides, chief marketing officer of La Prairie Group, says: “We are very excited about this unique collaboration, which we feel perfectly embodies La Prairie’s intrinsic link with the world of art.”
Prodomides adds: “In using precious caviar in its formulations, La Prairie continues to break the codes of luxury skincare, just as these talented artists go beyond the limits of the imagination.
Just as their works begin with an audacious vision, so too does every La Prairie creation.”
The exhibition opened at Zürich Airport on 12 January and will run until 18 February 2018.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |

The experience economy, driven by evolving consumer trends, is poised for continued growth
in the coming years. Millennials have been at the forefront of this shift, favouring
memorable experiences over material possessions. This preference has extended to other
generations as well, indicating a broader adoption of experience-focused spending habits
in the attractions sector. |
