Paultons Park has updated its POS systems due to an increase of visitors following the opening of Peppa Pig World |
|
UK-based software company Kamarin Computers has recently completed an installation at Paultons Park in Hampshire, UK.
Since the opening of Peppa Pig World in 2011, Paultons Park has reported a massive surge in visitor numbers. Due to the increased demand the park has recently rolled out a park wide update of its POS software.
The installation was implemented by POS specialist SBS EPOS, who were commissioned to install Kamarin Computers’ KCPOS on 70 terminals across the park over a three month period.
KCPOS is an EPOS system designed for the attractions industry. It is capable of synchronising with existing software and features a comprehensive stock/inventory management system, booking system, ticketing system and loyalty scheme.
Stephen Lorton, commercial director at Paultons Park, says: “We needed to upgrade our EPOS system across all 70 terminals at the same time. We opted for KCPOS - which integrates with out new new OmniTicket software and our accounts package.”
“It was a major project and it went brilliantly. SBS EPOS worked in partnership with us throughout the installation and KCPOS were supportive in providing bespoke tweaks to ensure clean integration.”
Lorton adds: “Staff picked up the system really quickly and it has made a huge difference to our business efficiency across our retail, catering, stock control and ticketing operation.”

attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |
