A £115,000 facelift and extension of fitness facilities has been unveiled at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre in Gloucestershire.
Work at the centre included increasing the gym floor space by 40 per cent, with 20 new pieces of Technogym equipment being installed.
The revamp was a result of a public consultation, which outlined the exact needs of the local community. It showed that there was a demand for more cycling classes, so 10 new bikes have beeen added to the current space. There is also a brand new functional fitness area.
The investment is part of a continuing programme of improvements by social enterprise Circadian Trust, which runs eight leisure centres in South Gloucestershire on behalf of local authorities.
